Dr. Sarah holds a PhD in Educational Leadership and a Master of Arts in Spanish from the University of Calgary.
Before moving to Calgary she attended Saint Mary’s University in her native city of Halifax where she earned a B.A. (Hons) in English and the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where she earned a certificate in Spanish Language Studies.
In addition to her formal education, Dr. Sarah is an advocate of lifelong learning and has taken numerous non-formal education programs. She has earned the the title of Competent Toastmaster and Competent Leader through the International Toastmasters program and she successfully completed the Leadership Calgary program in 2004.
In 2010 she was inducted into the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers, where she engages with other professionals dedicated to speaking, training, motivating and educating others.
Every year, Sarah takes courses, attends conferences and engages actively in research to continually improve herself and develop and grow as a human being.
